Lung qi is deficient.

Typical signs include shortness of breath, reluctance to speak, spontaneous sweating, weak voice, and frequent colds.

Differentiate it from Lung yin deficiency, which tends toward dry cough, dry mouth, and a red tongue with scant fluids.
