Definition
Liver Fire Blazing is an excess heat pattern in which fire in the Liver channel rises upward to the head and eyes.
Clinical Meaning
Liver constraint transforms into fire, or internal heat accumulates and flares upward.
Common Patterns / Clues
The tongue is red with yellow coating, and the pulse is wiry, rapid, and often forceful.
Differentiation
Compared with Liver Yang Rising, this pattern has stronger excess heat evidence. Compared with Liver Qi Stagnation transforming into heat, the fire signs are more complete and forceful.
Pitfall / Exam Tip
If red eyes, bitter taste, constipation, and yellow coating cluster together, Liver Fire should move ahead of Liver Yang Rising.
