Red Tongue Tip

The tongue tip appears redder than the rest of the tongue body and may have red prickles.

It commonly suggests Heart heat, emotional agitation, insomnia, or shen disturbance.

A red tip emphasizes upper-jiao or Heart involvement. If the entire tongue is red, do not reduce the finding to Heart fire alone.
